Whether you are looking to hunt in the winter or the fall, our hunting grounds are exactly what you need to satisfy your caribou hunting appetite. Our main lodge is located in the heart of the wintering ground for the Leaf River herd; in addition, our many satellite sites will provide you with all the comforts for fall hunting.
From Mirage Lodge, we will take you by float plane to one of our many satellite sites. All of these sites are insulated, heated and fully equipped with kitchen, bedroom and interior washrooms (toilet and shower). The early winter hunt is carried out, mainly by road vehicles, from the comfortable Mirage Lodge located on the Transtaïga road in the James Bay area. As of mid-December, the use of snowmobiles is almost essential (Snowmobile rental available). You will return to the comfort of our lodge every night.
